We’ve all seen the statistics, the viral videos and the please…texting while driving has become a major problem on the road. While drivers can read plenty of statistics on the increased likelihood of crashing while texting (23 times more likely according to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration), we seem to be unable to stop ourselves. A recent Bovitz study found that our inability to stop ourselves from reaching for that buzzing phone, has made a majority of people feel that devices that aren’t hands free should be banned in cars.
