Bovitz Hires Marissa Brown to Support Qualitative Research Practice

Bovitz Inc. is excited to announce the hiring of Marissa Brown as Senior Research Manager & Qualitative Specialist.  Though she will focus more of her efforts on qualitative research studies, Marissa is skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and her versatility will be a huge asset for Bovitz’s diverse client base.

Marissa comes to Bovitz after spending the past 5½ years at ConAgra Foods as a Senior Sensory Scientist.  While at ConAgra, she represented the voice of the consumer for iconic consumer brands such as Chef Boyardee, Orville Redenbacher, Peter Pan, and Slim Jim, and supported several new product launches for the company, including Wicked Kitchen, a line of food truck-inspired frozen meals which was ConAgra’s first internally-developed brand in over 25 years.

Marissa is a RIVA-trained moderator who has extensive experience in leading focus groups, interviews, consumer co-creation sessions, and ideation workshops.  She has continued to build her skill set over the years, completing and putting into practice additional trainings in creative problem solving methods, design thinking, and storytelling.

After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science from the University of Delaware, Marissa obtained a Master’s Degree in Consumer and Sensory Science and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics from Kansas State University.

Marissa started with Bovitz in October and will work out of our Los Angeles headquarters. Please join us in welcoming Marissa to the Bovitz family!
